The Original Skin Shield 20 years of innovative hygiene.

Expanding our focus and answering the need to provide a disinfecting solution to the consumer market, the original SkinShield, a unique antimicrobial/antiviral barrier lotion was introduced. The original SkinShield is a fast-acting barrier lotion that kills infectious bacteria and viruses. It is non-toxic, anti-inflammatory, and successfully passed repeat skin insult and eye irritation tests. The unique antimicrobial/antiviral lotion properties control hand contact infections and cross contaminations by killing pathogens (E. coli, Strep, Staphylococcus, Aureus, Klebsiella, Enterobacter, Micrococcus, Proteus, Serratia, Salmonella and the superbugs MRSA, VRE and E. coli 0157:H7). It also eliminates contact dermatitis. SkinShield was successfully used in many different industries (hospitals, health care, airline, law enforcement, schools, and restaurants). Healthcare workers using SkinShield regularly had over a 50% decrease in patient infections from the previous year. Flight Attendants had a 7% decrease in the number of sick occurrences and a 23.7% decrease in the number of sick days used compared to one and two years prior. Local, State, and Federal law enforcement agencies utilized SkinShield as a back-up to personal protection equipment.
